THP device check-in

This records your computer in the IT inventory. It takes about ten seconds and changes nothing on your machine.

Download the check-in tool
Your browser will warn you about running a downloaded file — that is normal. Choose Keep, then double-click it and choose Run. You do not need administrator rights.

Chrome and Edge show a prompt like this. Choose Keep.
  1. Download the tool using the button above.
  2. Open it from your Downloads folder.
  3. A window shows what is being sent, then closes itself.
Alternative: run it from PowerShell instead

Nothing to download and no browser warning. About twenty seconds:

  1. Click Start, or press the Windows key.
  2. Type powershell.
  3. Click Windows PowerShell in the results. You do not need “Run as administrator”.
  4. Copy the line below, then right-click inside the PowerShell window to paste it.
  5. Press Enter.
